Everything we do is run by a dedicated group of volunteers, who give their time for free to help us with our aims.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS TO VOLUNTEERING? (see below for some endorsements from some of our volunteers)

• For the games, you will benefit from enjoying the match for free (assuming your duties allow you to, but most roles will enable most people to watch the games)
• Free admission to all our events and games, including our family cricket fun day.
• You’ll be making a difference to someone’s experience either at a match or at any other event.
• You’ll be issued with a HGSA volunteer badge.
• But most of all, you’ll be part of a dedicated team who strive to do the best they can and make things better and make things easy, smooth and fun for anyone attending an event.

We are currently looking to add to our volunteer pool for various roles across events in 2024.

Our main roles including helping at:

• Legends bar at the stadium on Giants first team match days
• At Laund Hill for Scholarship, Academy and Reserves games
• Volunteering at the cricket day and various other events throughout the year
• Volunteer roles for the womens games at Laund Hill
• We also sometimes pool our resources with other groups such as the Community Trust and Heritage Society.

If this is something you’d like to get involved with then all we ask is that you spare around one hour for each event, sometimes it could be two hours but usually no longer. You will be issued with an ID badge and be able to watch most of the games (at Laund Hill) for free once your duties have been completed.
