people at the 2023 cricket fun day

It’s that time of the year when you realise that the season will be drawing to a close for all our teams and for our volunteers.

But we still have plenty to go at until the end of September.

The Scholarship have finished their home campaign while the academy, reserves, womens seniors and U19’s still have games left to play, as indeed do the mens seniors, please give them all the support you can.

You can find all the fixtures and results here- https://hgsa.org.uk/academy-scholarships/ and the womens here https://hgsa.org.uk/giants-womens-teams

As well as the games, we are also hosting a mini fans forum at Laund Hill on the 7th August, this is a chance for members to come along and ask any burring questions and get the lowdown on what’s been and what is happening at the club, the panel is TBC after Ian Watson’s departure as head coach as Ian was down to be one of our guests.

And then on Sunday 25th August, that’s the bank holiday weekend, we host the annual Giants cricket family fun day, again, at the superb Honley Cricket Club, with the usual fun and fayre, more details to be posted on the website and social media in the upcoming days.

A full list of all our events can be found here and of course, we are always on the lookout for volunteers! email marteast74@yahoo.co.uk if you can spare an hour or so to help out, we are particularly looking for help at the cricket day, so please spare some time to help out if you can?
