Sunday 16th June is Fathers day, it’s also Huddersfield Giants women v Leeds Rhinos women at Laund Hill in the womens Super League at 2.00pm.

This game will be dedicated to and supported by Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) and in memory of Rob Burrow who passed away recently after a brave fight against the disease.

There will be plenty of MNDA branded stuff available, and information about what they are doing to combat the fight against a terrible disease.

As well as a bucket collection, we will also be holding a raffle for a signed Giants and a signed Rhinos shirt, all proceeds to be donated to MNDA, and as well as that, we have also agreed to donate the proceeds of our golden gamble half time draw to MNDA

With the men playing away in Hull on Friday night and with no home game for the mens first time for a few weeks, we are appealing to everyone who would like their Sunday rugby fix to come up to Laund Hill and cheer the girls on against their local rivals and to support the team, but also to support womens rugby league and of course to support MNDA and honour the memory of Rob Burrow.

With it being Fathers day too, why not bring dad up? The bar and café will be open so treat dad to a bacon butty courtesy of Deborah at Kitson table and a pint from the bar.

Big G will also be in attendance to lead the teams out and be available throughout the day to meet and greet.

Admission prices are £6 adults and £2 U16”s with U5’s being free, both cash and card payments are accepted around the complex.

We hope to see as many people there as possible, what else would you be doing with dad?
