Formed in 2009-10, The Huddersfield Giants Supporters’ Association (HGSA) is a non-profit making organisation, which raises funds for the Giants Academy and Scholarship teams. We also have lots of fun, socialising and interacting with our fellow Giants supporters!
We run the ‘Legends’ bar at the stadium complex on home matchdays, including the famous ‘Brian Blacker Roadshows’, which have become an integral part of matchdays at the bar.
The bar is HGSA members only and admission is with a valid membership card. New members and renewals can be taken in the bar on match days or at any of our events.
As well as organising fundraising events such as speakers’ evenings, we act as a conduit between the club and the supporters, by having regular meetings and discussing any issues, thoughts or ideas our members/supporters may have. Whilst we are totally independent of the Huddersfield Giants, we work and liaise closely with the club in order to support both our aims.
We are run by dedicated volunteers, and we are open to and inclusive of everyone. We are organised by a committee and any of our members can be voted on to the committee. We are always seeking new members, volunteers and people to work with us, so please consider helping out if you can.
To help achieve our aims, we promote the Giants’ Reserves, Academy and Scholarship games by using our teams of volunteers to organise and run the non-playing side of things on matchdays, thus enabling the club to direct vital resources elsewhere.
We also organise many other fundraising events throughout the year. We offer our members regular interactions with players, coaches, match officials, media personalities and other people involved within the game.
And best of all, membership to the Huddersfield Giants Supporters’ Association is only £6 per year. We look forward to welcoming you!
