It’s that time of the year when we ask people to once again support us by renewing memberships for 2025, some have already renewed and we thank them for that but we’d also like to make an appeal too.. please read below.
Many of you may have seen or heard about the Forget me not children’s hospice, based here in Huddersfield, and in particularly the struggle for funding to keep the hospice running, and how Huddersfield Giants have made a vow to donate 50% of season card payments to the hospice to help them.
Well, we at HGSA decided to match the Giants’ offer of helping the hospice out by way of donations, so until midnight on Christmas day, we are donating 50% of all membership payments, either renewals or new memberships to forget me not hospice.
We ask that if you are planning on renewing or if you could sign other people up as new members that you please do it during this period and help donate to a wonderful, local cause.
We know it’s not much, £3 of every membership, but we want to do our best to help and as they say, every little helps!
