Well, Huddersfield Giants fans, it’s that time of year again when we re-embark on another season of Rugby League following our heroes in Claret & Gold, and for us at the HGSA it means sorting out your pre match schedule in the form of the Fanzone and of course our HGSA members only Legends Café-Bar .
Starting this Sunday, the 16th, for the first home game of the season against Warrington Wolves our doors will open at 1pm to welcome you again.
Please remember to have your 2025 membership cards ready to show our staff on the door to gain admission, not a member yet? Not a problem, our team will be happy to sign you up to a new membership.
Unfortunately though, decisions behind the scenes mean that the half price drinks offer for the first hour will not be available this season, this is NOT a HGSA decision so please don’t give our volunteers any grief over this.
However, we will also be bringing you the regular player interviews too, another benefit to your membership.
Our team will also be active in the Fanzone, situated at the back of the Core stand, the Fanzone incorporates a bar, hot food vendor The Sons of the North, It’s a grind coffee bar, cakes and bakes from OMGee Bakes, ice cream van, OXEN Sports UK merchandise truck, the Huddersfield Giants Community Trust will be providing the inflatable goals for the kids, or adults, to practice their goalkicking, the Cheerleaders will be on hand with performances for you all to enjoy as well as doubling up as our face painters.
Djs from the Hart mobile disco and karaoke will also be spinning all the favourite tunes if you fancy a boogie or a singalong.
The HGSA will again be bringing non playing squad players to you, bring a pen and get your shirt signed, an autograph or just come and say hi and have a selfie with them, you will find them at the HGSA table within the main fanzone marquee.
We may also have some new and fun segments involving the players.
The fanzone is free for everyone and like the Legends bar opens at 1pm, why not drop by on your way to Legends?
Once in the ground you can make your way to Block 7 in the Kilner Bank stand where the ‘Cowbell army’ congregate, everyone is welcome to join in, sing, shout, wave your flags and swing your scarves
Please remember that all the HGSA staff on duty are unpaid volunteers and do not work for the club in any way and are not responsible for any decisions or policies the club choose to adopt, please treat our volunteers with respect, we are, after all, trying to make your game day experience better.
HGSA membership is available for only £6 a year, see How to become a member or renew here
Enjoy your Rugby League and thank you for your continued support!
