Our Giants travel to Wimbledon on Easter Sunday, 31st March to face the London Broncos and for those who are attending the game we have put together a handy guide.

TICKETS- Tickets are available by using this link https://londonbroncos.ticketco.events/uk/en/e/london_broncos_v_huddersfield_giants

Giants fans are accommodated in both the East (side on) and South (goals) stands, please note, the South stand is designated as a “safe standing area”, seating is the railed seats, which means fans can choose to stand or sit.

TRAVEL TO THE GROUND- The ground is in Wimbledon, in South-West London

Here are the various options to get to the ground.

Car – This is London, so driving isn’t advised unless you want your stress levels to go through the roof. If you are determined to drive then the A24 is your best bet from the South, those coming from North of London can make their own best judgements on the day.

Train – Haydon’s Road is the closest train station, but there will be more frequent options to nearby Wimbledon station which is just a 30 walk from the stadium.

Earlsfield station also serves the ground from Waterloo and the south west.

Most national rail services run from Waterloo station.

Taxi – A black cab won’t be cheap wherever you get it from, and although cheaper options are available via phone apps a train, tram, bus, or tube will be cheaper.

Tube – Wimbledon (District Line) or Tooting Bec (Northern Line) are your best bets here, being equidistant from the stadium. However, the Northern line is probably faster and more reliable.

Bus – A number of bus services run along Garratt Lane between Earlsfield and Tooting Broadway, while the 493 bus runs from Wimbledon Station (Tube District Line, Tram, South Western Railway and Thameslink) directly outside Plough Lane Stadium.

PARKING-

There will be no parking on site (accessible spectators will be given separate guidelines). Where possible, supporters are advised to travel by public transport as parking spaces cannot be guaranteed.

You may wish to consult Merton Borough Council and Wandsworth Borough Council websites for parking restrictions around the Plough Lane area. Wandsworth operates additional matchday parking restrictions in the CPZs near to the Cherry Red Records Stadium.

For anyone not travelling down south, the bar at Laund Hill will be showing the game on the screens there and the bar and café, courtesy of The Kitson table will also be open and serving food, why not go and join fellow Giants Supporters at the Laund Hill complex and cheer the away team from home?
